Felix Theodore Adams, 89, of Novi, MI, former longtime resident of Bloomfield Hills, husband of Bernice (nee Gizowski) and the late Jean J. Adams, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2010.
He was born in Detroit on July 5, 1920 to the late Felix and Doris Adams. He served in China with the Army Air Corps during WWII. He furthered his education by obtaining a Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin and later an MBA from Northwestern University.
Felix worked for over 30 years for Ford Motor Co., with his last years serving as a company executive. He also served on the Dealer Policy Board at Ford. He was a member of the Detroit Athletic Club, and the Detroit Economic Club.
His first wife, Jean J. Adams, passed away in 1990. Felix married Bernice Gizowski on June 19, 1991. The two of them enjoyed time with each other and with family. They especially liked going to the opera, the symphony, and the theatre. They also spent many wonderful sunsets together on Marco Island, and created many beautiful memories together. In his earlier years, he enjoyed golfing.
Felix is survived by his wife, Bernice, a brother Douglas (Renie) and numerous nieces and nephews.
