Obituary

Fred was a graduate of Southwestern High School and a veteran of the United States Navy. Born and raised in Detroit, he was currently a resident of Bloomfield Hills for the last eight years and formerly of Farmington Hills for 11 years.

In the mid 1970's Fred opened his own jewelry store, and had locations in Oak Park and Bloomfield Hills.

He was a family man, and was always there for his kids. A true socialite, Fred was loved by everyone. He also loved to play poker and craps.

Loving father of Paul (Anthoula) and Joseph. Dear brother of Joseph and Donna Kilbride (Tom). Devoted nephew of Najla Abednour. Also survived by his dear friend and companion, Julie Restum, dear friend and former wife Kim Todd, as well as a loving family of nieces, nephews and cousins including Denise Arida and family, Jeanette Khalil and family, Georgette Tomey and family and Linda Sabak and family.

Family will receive friends Monday and Tuesday 2-9pm at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home ( Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward Ave., Royal Oak. Prayer service Tuesday 7pm.

Funeral Mass Wednesday 11am at Our Lady of Redemption, 28293 Lorraine Ave., Warren. Visitation begins at church 10am.
