Obituary

Gary Patrick Zembala, age 57, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family, on July 7, 2006.

Beloved son of Josephine Zembala and the late Chester Zembala.

Survived by his brother Dennis (Ann) Zembala, his sister Donna (Robert) Rousseau, his daughter Rayna and his son David. Gary also leaves behind nieces Margaret and Jenna, nephews Reid and Andrew and many dear friends.

Gary was born on March 2, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan, where he received a BS and an MBA. Gary was a talented and creative executive and consultant who spent his career working with a number of companies in the areas of engineering, technology, strategic planning, information systems and other operational improvement. Gary loved participating in, coaching, and watching all kinds of sports, especially golf. He also loved spending time with his family and friends, who will miss him dearly. He will be remembered for his sharp intellect, his loyalty and generosity, and for his incredible ability to make people laugh.

Family will receive friends at A. J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road (between Maple and Big Beaver Roads) Tuesday, July 11, 2006, from 10:30 AM until Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon.

Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery, Detroit

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to:
