Obituary

Harvey Zieger, D.O. was born in Detroit, Michigan, on February 21, 1948, to the late Max and Ethel Zieger. Raised in Detroit, he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Wayne State University and then attended Des Moines College of Osteopathic Medicine. After becoming a Doctor of Osteopathic Medice, Harvey moved back to the Detroit area where he practiced medicine at the Park Medical Clinic in Detroit. After a long illness, Harvey passed away peacefully on January 2, 2015. He was 66 years old.

He is survived his son Corey Zieger, daughter Nicole Zieger and grandchildren Jacob and Micaela Frakes-Zieger.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 2-8 p.m. at A.J. Desmond Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Rd. (between Maple & Big Beaver), 248-362-2500.
