Helen Jewel Adams- Loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Jewel was born on January 6, 1930, the second child of Lester and Helen Wynn. Jewel spent her childhood in Hamilton, Ohio and graduated from Hamilton High in 1947. She married her sweetheart, Ralph R. Adams, in May of 1951. They had two children, and spent 45 years of happy marriage together until Ralph's death in 1996.
Jewel's family was her focus in life. She was a devoted mother to Marcia and Randy, and a loving grandmother to Megan, Michelle, Mark, James, William and Benjamin. She was a sister to Bill Wynn and Janet Baker, and an aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Jewel loved to travel and loved to entertain. She sparkled with energy, loved unconditionally and glowed with life. Jewel was a true angel to many.
Beloved wife of the late Ralph R. Dear Mother of Marcia A. Reedy (Clifford) and Randall R. Adams (Sally). Loving grandmother of Megan, Michelle, James, William, Benjamin and the late Mark. Sister of Bill Wynn (Edna Mae) and Janet Baker (Al). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Her family appreciates the loving care of Yvette McCain and the entire staff at Sunrise Assisted Living, Troy.
A Funeral Mass was celebrated privately at St. Hugo of the Hills. Jewel will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Ralph Adams, at Greenwood Cemetery in Hamilton, Ohio.
