Obituary

Hilda Stacho passed away on Sunday, February 9, 2020 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 92. Hilda was born in Capestrano, Italy on November 9, 1927 to the late Dominic DeLuca and Domenica Corsi. She worked as a hair dresser for the beginning part of her working life but ultimately retired from Ford Motor Company in 1996 after working there for 20 years and was a member of the UAW. Hilda enjoyed being at family gatherings, trips to the casino, and annual trips to Florida.

Loving wife of the late Mike, whom she married on May 14, 1949. Beloved mother of Michael Stacho (Diane Irey), Barbara Stacho, Richard Stacho, John Stacho (Denise) and Gary Stacho. Devoted grandma of Dawn, Jeffrey, Ryan, Adam, Amy and the late Brian. Cherished great grandma of Joey, Ciara, Dominic, Nate, Jeremy, Zack, Nick and Casey. Sister of Jean Belevender (the late Vince), the late John DeLuca (the late Anna), and the late Raymond DeLuca (Irene).

Hilda’s family will receive friends from 2:30-8:30pm on Friday, February 14, at A.J. Desmond and Sons Price Chapel, 3725 Rochester Rd., Troy (between Big Beaver and Wattles). A Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30am on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at St. Rene Goupil Catholic Parish, 35955 Ryan Rd., Sterling Heights. Visitation at church begins at 9:00am. Family prefers memorial tributes to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
