Irena
Ziemann
February 26, 1947 - September 22, 2017
Born in Regensburg, Germany
Resided in Palm Coast, Florida
Irena (nee Dutka). Passed away September 22, 2017 at home in Palm Coast, Florida surrounded by family and friends.
Irena loved all the beauty of this earth and she certainly added to its’ beauty in so many ways at every opportunity. It was a cloudy morning and right after she passed, it started to rain. Her husband, daughter, grandson, sister, brother, brother in law, and cousin were around her as ‘Eagles Wings’ played in the background. Shortly afterwards, an awesome cloud opened up with the sun shining an overwhelming bright light throughout the sky.
Her final days were spent with many visitors by her side including her hospice nurse Maria who happened to be Ukrainian just like Irena. We thank them for the endless comfort, joy and love they brought to her bedside, where she rested beside a picture window view and was able to enjoy God’s earthly masterpiece until her final moments. With family and friends she was showered with the many blessings she had yearned for in her final days. She was surrounded by loving family and hospice angels all week and we were all there when she died. The past few years, filled with much pain and suffering, were deafened by the choirs of Angels who came to literally sing by her side. May she rest with her Rock in whom she trusted endlessly until her final breath. With love her faith was unshaken. May He raise her up on Eagles wings and allow her to rest in peace until we join her in Salvation.
Cherished wife of Richard. Treasured mother of Ludmilla Ziemann and Larissa Martin (Luke). Proud grandmother of Joseph. Beloved daughter of Eva Kozak. Adored sister of Natalie Capicchioni (Berardo) and Terry Kozak (Michelle). Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends Thursday 4-9 pm at A.J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward (btwn 13-14 Mile), 248-549-0500. Funeral Mass Friday 11 a.m. at St. Hugo of the Hills Stone Chapel, 2215 Opdyke Rd., Bloomfield Hills. Visitation at the Chapel begins at 10:30a.m. Memorial tributes to Right to Life of Michigan.
