Obituary

Jack A. Kempton, 87, and beloved husband of Judy for 38 years, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2019.

Jack was born in New Troy, Michigan on August 14, 1932 to the late Otto and Esther Klupp. He served proudly during the Korean War for the United States Army.

Beloved husband of Judy for 38 years. Loving father of Linda Kempton. Dear brother of Donald Kempton (the late Lora), Kathy Blagburn (Dr. Byron), and the late Judith Kempton.

Family will receive friends Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 1-5 p.m. at A.J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel) 32515 Woodward Ave (between 13-14 Mile).

A funeral service will be celebrated on Monday, December 2, 2019 at 11:00am at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia, Michigan where Jack will receive military honors from the United States Army.

Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association in Jack's memory.
