Obituary

A kind and loving father, husband, and grandfather, James lived his life with a positive outlook and led by example. His work ethic, tenacity, and mental toughness defined a character that set an example for what it means to be a true family man. James had a profound love for fishing and being outdoors. His infectious laughter and fun loving spirit drew others to him and kept them laughing as well. That spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

James Donald Adams, May 20, 2019, Age 69. Beloved husband of Susan Adams for 42 years. Caring father of Eric Adams, Lesley Broederdorf (Brett) and Lauren (Joel Barker). Dear grandfather of Myra, Claire, William and Sydney Broederdorf. Loving brother of Barbara Adams. Preceded in death by his parents Donald and Cecilia Adams.

The Memorial Service will be on Friday at 4 p.m. at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Rd. (between Maple and Big Beaver), 248-362-2500. Family will receive friends 2 p.m. until time of service.
