Obituaries

Janice Ann Zielesch died January 4, 2018. She was 56 years old, and was born October 14, 1961. Janice was a life-long resident of Birmingham, MI. She was the beloved daughter of the late Celia and Louis Zielesch. Janice graduated from Andover High School in 1979, and earned her Master's in Finance degree from Walsh College. She spent her career working in the financial services industry, specializing in retirement planning. She currently worked at Great Lakes Pension Associates as a Senior Pension Consultant where she coordinated IRAs and pension plans. She enjoyed 17 years at that firm. Janice's church, Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, was an integral part of her recent years. She felt blessed by the church community, and was looking forward to serving on many committees. She will also be remembered as an animal lover who cared deeply about the cats and dogs she owned throughout her life, as well as wildlife preservation.

Janice was the beloved daughter of the late Celia and Louis. Loving cousin of Violet Spencer, Holley and Molley Spencer, Kimberly (Scott) and Sarah, Spencer, and John Miller. She was also the dear friend of Mary Lou Temple.

Family will receive friends Sunday 2-6pm at A.J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers, & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward Ave (btw 13-14 Mile), Royal Oak, 248-549-0500. Funeral service Monday 10am at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 1100 Lone Pine Rd, Bloomfield Hills. Visitation at church begins 9am.
