Obituary

JOHN ANGELO GANOS, April 16, 2019, age 89.

Beloved husband of Bessie for 54 wonderful years. Loving father of Michael and the late Angelo. Dear grandfather of Breannah Star Ganos, Ally Cormier, and Jonathan Ganos. Son of the late Angelo and Georgia Giannopoulos. Brother of Chrisoula Barounis (Mike), and the late Dimitris Giannopoulos, and Adonis Giannopoulos. Brother-in-law of Eleni Giannopoulos and Fotula Giannopoulos. Uncle of Georgia Kaiafas-Pomogalov (Dmitriy), Olga Kaiafas, and many nieces and nephews in Greece. Great-uncle of Theo Pomogalov. Brother in law of Margaret Kaiafas (Theodore) and John Besieris.

Family will receive friends Friday, April 19, 2019 from 2-8 pm, with a Trisagion service at 7 pm at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road, Troy (Between Maple & Big Beaver), 248-362-2500.

The Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 20, 2019 at 12:30 pm at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 760 W. Wattles, Troy. Visitation at the church begins at 12:00 pm. Burial will be at White Chapel cemetery.
