Obituary

Judy died June 6, 2019 at age 74 of complications from Alzheimer’s disease. She was originally diagnosed at age 59. Married to her husband, Joe, for 51 years, she is also survived by three daughters: Megan Carlini (Carlo Carlini), Kate Pallischeck (Dan Casey), and Anne Pallischeck (Gary Eichler), and two granddaughters: Zoey Carlini and Jude Casey. Her brother, Jeff Krouse (Young Hee Krouse), survives her as well.

Judy was born in Philadelphia and raised in Selinsgrove, Pennsylvania. She graduated from Penn State University with a degree in Education and taught pre- through middle school classes until retiring to raise her children. She was involved in many organizations and clubs - often in leadership positions. Judy enjoyed traveling, especially experiencing other cultures outside the US. She has lived in Michigan for 46 years.

The family will receive friends Monday, June 10, from 3:00-8:00pm at the A. J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward Ave. (btwn 13-14 Mile), (248) 549-0500.

A private memorial service will be held at a future date.

Donations should be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or medical organizations doing research to eliminate this disease.
