Obituary

Karen Ruth Williams, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, February 11, 2020.

Karen was born in Detroit, Michigan and graduated from McKenzie High School. She did clerical work for many years and spent the last years as a fiscal manager, working in mental health.

Karen loved to have a good time. She loved dancing, home shopping network, jewelry, and spending time on cruise ships. She had some amazing trips to the Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexico and other tropical areas. Karen did go through some tough times as well. She lost her son, Christopher, at the precious age 18, in 1989. Her positive outlook and ability to have a good time, wherever she went served her well throughout her years.

Cherished daughter of Andrew and Jeanette Loisel (nee Jacobsen). Loving mother of the late Christopher. Dear sister of Gary Loisel (late Rita) and the late Ronald Loisel (Peggy). Caring aunt of Paul Loisel (Laurie), Brian Loisel, Brad Loisel (Amy), Glenn Loisel, Douglas Loisel (Jennifer), Yvonne Rost (Walter) and the late Cary Loisel (Diane). She was also the proud great-aunt of many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services will be held privately.

Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in her memory.
