Obituary

LOUISE MARIE ZITNIK, age 96, died Wednesday, January 18, 2006, at Evangelical Home in Sterling Heights. She was born Louise Bozich, August 20, 1909, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to Frank and Louise (Zidar) Bozich, one of 12 children. She was like a second mother to the family as her father died early in life. Resident of Clinton Township, and former resident of Troy and Detroit.

Mrs. Zitnik had worked at the Mayberry Sanitarium in Northville, and with the American Red Cross.

Deceased Spouse: the late Louis Zitnik, deceased March 22, 1984 – they were married in the 1930’s.
Surviving Sisters: Pauline Messana (Frank) and Angeline Cedilnik (John)
Surviving Brother: John Bozich (Margaret)
Also survived by: nieces and nephews

Visitation: Friday, January 20, 2006, from 2-8 PM at A. J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road, Troy, MI (between Maple and Big Beaver Roads), with an evening Prayer Service at the Funeral Home Friday at 6 PM.

Funeral Mass: Saturday, January 21, 2006 @ 10:00 AM at St. Lucy Croatian Catholic Church, 200 E. Wattles Road, Troy, with Reverend Nikola Pasalic officiating. Visitation at church begins Saturday at 9:30 AM.

Interment: Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Detroit
