Obituary

Margaret "Maggie" A. Bingert Walker-Janke passed away on October 27, 2017, at the age of 72. Margaret was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Tony and Helen Bingert. She attended Denby High School and graduated in 1963. Maggie was employed by City Bank, Miller Garages and Weldaloy until she retired. She also served as a Deaconess at Church.

Maggie was the dear wife of the late Alvin Walker and the late Gustav Janke. Beloved sister of Leonard (Diane) Bingert and the late Anton Bingert. Dearest Auntie to Carolyn (David), Matthew and Katy Wolff, and Christine and Clara Keller. Cherished Stepmother to Dwayne (Jennifer) Janke, Verne Janke and Cheryl (Alfred) Schmitke. Devoted Step grandmother to Peter (Nicole) Schmitke, David (Rebecca) Schmitke, and James Schmitke. Loving Step great grandmother to Madelyn Grace and Ivy Pearl.

A Celebration of Life for Maggie will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Park Baptist Church, 28600 Lahser Road, Southfield, Michigan. Visitation at Church begins at 9:30 a.m. Memorial Tributes are appreciated to Highland Park Baptist Church Deaconess Fund, 28600 Lahser Road, Southfield, Michigan 48034
