MARY JULIA ZYGNOWICZ, age 79, died on Wednesday, March 19, 2008 at her residence in Troy, Michigan. She was born Mary Julia Jastrzembowski, on June 14, 1928, in Detroit.

Occupation: Mrs. Zygnowicz was a (retired) Secretary with the City of Detroit Health Department.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Troy, Michigan.

Surviving Husband of 56 years: Richard
Surviving Daughter: Valaurie
Surviving Son: Dale
Surviving Sister: Helen Tramontana (the late Roy)
Also survived by: many loving nieces and nephews

Visitation: Monday, March 24, 2008, from 4-8 PM, and Tuesday, March 25, 2008, from 2-8 PM at A. J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 2600 Crooks Road, Troy, MI 48084 (between Maple and Big Beaver Roads), with an evening Rosary Service at 7 PM

Funeral Mass: Wednesday, March 26, 2008 - 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 280 E. Square Lake Road, Troy, Michigan, with Reverend Ronald Jozwiak officiating. Visitation at church begins Wednesday at 9:30 AM

Interment: Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield, Michigan
