Obituary

Sunday evening Michael was serenaded into the arms of his Savior with songs of praise from his children and their friends, a fitting tribute to Mike’s commitment to be a great husband, father and friend.

Mike had a unique way of making special relationships with children. He led youth Bible studies, and was an active leader in Indian Guides and Indian Princesses.

Although successful as a businessman, Mike’s priorities in life were his commitment to Jesus Christ as his Lord, his family, his friends and to God’s work in the world. Mike loved to share his gift of hospitality with others. High energy and achievement marked Mike’s life.

He was an Eagle Scout and an exchange student in Germany before he graduated from Southfield Lathrup in 1975. He graduated from Hillsdale College in 1979, a proud member of Alpha Tau Omega, while serving as a page to Senator Phil Crane in Washington, D.C. in 1980.

He received a law degree from Vanderbilt University in 1982 and practiced law in Grand Rapids before commencing his career with A+Partners a marketing firm specializing in shows and exhibits headquartered in Warren, MI.

Mike was an active member of Kensington Community Church and played important roles in the growth and development of the church.

Husband of Debra for 20 years.
Father of Alexa, Chase and Max.
Son of Donald W. and the late Evelyn Adams. Brother of Janice L. Burke, Amy L. Russell and Jeffrey D. Adams.

Family will receive friends at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, 32515 Woodward Ave., Royal Oak, Tuesday October 5th, 5-9pm.

Memorial service Wednesday 11am at Kensington Community Church, 1825 E. Square Lake Rd., Troy.

In lieu of flowers family suggests memorial tributes to Kensington Community Church Chapel Fund
