Obituary

Riadh "Ray" Yalda Sabbagh passed away February 20, 2020 at the age of 72.

He was born on November 3, 1947 in Baghdad, Iraq to Yalda Murad and Mary Jires Sabbagh (nee Kachie). Ray came to the United States with his father in 1967, after his mother had passed.

Ray worked as a Hi Lo operator for Farmer Jack for 35 years.

Ray's favorite place was Florida, where he enjoyed relaxing on the beach and watching beautiful sunsets. In addition to soaking up the Florida sunshine, Ray loved spending time with his family.

Beloved husband of Carolyn Sabbagh (nee Michalak) for 48 years. Loving father of Gary (Hollylynn) and Eric (Sandy). Devoted grandfather of Katie Rae, Olivia, Joshua, and Gavin. Dear brother of Ensaf (Amir) Karim and Etab Sabbagh.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, February 25, from 2-8 PM at A.J. Desmond & Sons Price Chapel. 3725 Rochester Rd. Troy (between Big Beaver & Wattles) 248.689.0700

Funeral Service Wednesday, February 26, at 11 AM at the funeral home. Visitation begins 10 AM on Wednesday.
