Beloved husband of the late Rita for 66 years. Dear father of Diane Drobeck, Rick Areddy, Jr. (Claudette), Mike Areddy (Joyce), Sue Schlenner (Konrad), Pat Hale (Mark McKee), Mary Ellen Whittington (Robert), and Bob Areddy (Diane). Grandfather of Jeremy Drobeck (Amy), Andy Drobeck (Trisha), Rick Areddy III, Ashley Blickensderfer (Phil), Nick Areddy (Kirsten), Kristen Areddy, John Schlenner, Sam Schlenner, Estee Schlenner, Emma Whittington, and Spencer Whittington. Also seven great-grandchildren. Brother-in-law of Jean Areddy, Suzie Schenk, and Donna Jeffrey (Charles).

Funeral Mass Friday, May 29, 2020, 10am at National Shrine of the Little Flower Basilica, 2100 Twelve Mile Rd., Royal Oak. Visitation at church begins at 9:30am.
