Obituary

ROBERT “BOB” LEE ZAHLER, LOVING HUSBAND, FATHER, AND BROTHER, PASSED AWAY FEBRUARY 24, 2020, AGE 79.

Survived by his wife Margaret; son Robert J. “Bobby”; siblings William “Bill” Zahler (Jean) and Joyce Schmitz (Wilfred); and niece Jennifer. He will be missed by all including his little girl Rosie, a pug.

“Bob the Fisherman” loved to fish, especially for Walleye and Pike in the Lake St. Clair and Port Huron areas. Hunting at his second home in Alger, Michigan was his favorite vacation.

Bob began his career with his apprenticeship in 1961 as a glazier. His career took him all over the Detroit area for 40 years.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, February 26 from 2-8pm with a Funeral Service at 4pm at A. J. Desmond & Sons, 2600 Crooks Rd (between Maple & Big Beaver), 248-362-2500.
