Ronald is survived by his beloved Adrianne to whom he was married 52 years. Ronald is the father of Ted Hughes (Jeni), Scott Hughes (Janell) and Jennifer Antoniotti. Ronald was the proud grandfather of C.J., Caroline, Joshua and Zachary. Ronald is survived by his brothers; Bill Hughes (Deborah) and Mike Hughes (Sandra).
Ronald enjoyed many years working in the personnel area within the Detroit Lions and Pittsburgh Steelers organizations the later providing him with two Super Bowl rings! Besides spending time with his family, Ron enjoyed many hours on his boat he kept on Elizabeth Lake with his “extended family”.
Family will receive friends Thursday from 5-8PM at AJ Desmond & Sons, 32515 Woodward Ave. (between 13 and 14 Mile Rds.). Funeral mass Friday 10AM at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church, 32340 Pierce St., Birmingham, MI. Visitation at church begins at 9:30AM.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be directed to the Michigan Humane Society.
