Obituary

Rose Marie Jordan was born to Vernor and Ethel Rinz on March 8, 1931 in Detroit, Michigan. She was the fourth daughter and tenth child of this big bustling family. Rose Marie graduated from Highland Park High in June 1949. As a young woman she worked at the Statler Hotel in downtown Detroit. Rose was a beautiful, intelligent career girl. She met her husband and soulmate, Julius Henry Jordan, at the office in the early 1960's while working as a secretary. They were married in the early 1960's. After marrying, Rose Marie became a homemaker. While the entire story is complicated, she had a great life and traveled the world with her husband and best friend, Uncle Hank. Not just to South America but to the Orient and other exotic locals. They had a good time traveling the world together. Later in life Rose Marie spent the winter's in Coral Springs Florida surrounded by her siblings. Rose Marie was a long time resident of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.

Rose would want you to know that she was a devoted daughter, sister and aunt. To her, family came first. Not only did she host many family dinners, along with her 3 sisters, she gave every Bride-to-Be in the family a big bridal shower. This may seem insignificant, but it made a powerful and lasting impression. We were all very grateful for her hospitality and kindness.

A Service for Rose Marie will be held in the Chapel at Roseland Park Cemetery on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 2:00 pm.
