Obituary

Steven T. Sundberg passed away on December 26, 2019 at the age of 55. Steve grew up in Commerce Twp., graduated from Walled Lake Central High School and Michigan Technological University where he was a brother in the Lamda Chi Alpha Fraternity, and a Graduate of Landmark education. In his spare time, Steve loved to play poker, volleyball and racquetball. He was also active at his church, helping with their AV technology. Steve lived in Troy and worked with General Dynamics as well as in Real Estate before he encountered complications from Crohn’s Disease.

Steve was the loving husband of Kathy (née: Shindorf) for 20 years. Beloved father of Luke and Ryan. Devoted Son of Jerry Sundberg (Sherrill). Cherished brother of Gregory Sundberg (Syd Phillips). Caring cousin of Allan Hutchison.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, December 30, 2019 at Commerce United Methodist Church, 1155 N. Commerce Rd., Commerce Twp., 48382. Visitation at church begins at 9:30am.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Steve’s name to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation.
