Obituary

Susan Claudia Hight, 72, and beloved wife of Ted Hight, Jr. for 49 years, passed away on Thursday February 7, 2019.

Susan was born in Detroit, Michigan on November 30, 1946 to the late Claude and Josephine Bright. She graduated from Highland Park High School and married her high school sweetheart, Ted Hight, Jr. on October 3, 1969.

In her free time, Susan loved playing sports, cooking, travel, church and most of all spending time with her family. She was a proud and loving grandmother that always enjoyed gathering family and friends together. She had a wonderful smile.

Loving mother of Elizabeth Johnson (Eric) and Ted III (Stephanie). Proud grandmother of Caleb Johnson, Kodie Johnson, Josie Johnson, Ted Hight, IV, Peter Hight, Jacob Hight, and Victor Hight.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 4:00-8:00 PM at A.J. Desmond & Sons (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel) 32515 Woodward Ave (between 13-14 Mile) in Royal Oak, Michigan.

A funeral service will be celebrated on Thursday, February 14, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.

Those wishing to make an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in Susan’s memory.
