Obituary

Bill was a resident of Bloomfield Hills, MI since 1965, formerly of Detroit. He is also a resident of Gaylord, MI.

He is a Veteran of the United States Army Air Corps. WWII serving as a fighter pilot instructor.

Bill is a 1946 graduate of Ohio University, Athens, Ohio - BS in Commerce. He is a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.

Bill recently retired as Vice Chairman after 50 years with Kolene Corporation, Detroit.

He is a member of SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) and a fellow of ASMI (American Society for Metals, Inc.

Bill is a 32nd degree mason and a member of Bellefontaine Lodge F.& A.M. in Bellefontaine, Ohio

Bill is also a member of Oakland Hills Country Club, Gaylord Country Club and the Otsego Ski Club. He is a life member of the National Ski Patrol and Alumni Association.

He enjoyed golf, skiing, fishing and hunting.

Husband of Joan (nee. Cox) for 53 years. Father of Lindley Z. Thomas (Robert). Grandfather of Andrew and Elli.

Memorial service Wednesday, Feb. 15th at 1:00pm at Kirk in the Hills, 1340 W. Long Lake Rd., Bloomfield Hills.
