Obituary

William K. Sanders, a 65-year resident of Bloomfield Hills, died peacefully on November 30, 2019 at age 91.

He was a graduate of Michigan State University and had a long and successful career on the design staff at General Motors.

Beloved husband of the late Marion “Bettie” Sanders for 57 years. Loving father of Forde (Anne), Jean and Gail Sanders (Jeffrey Stenberg). Cherished grandfather of Dillon, Mary and William Sanders and step-grandchildren, Randall and Grace Stenberg. Uncle of nieces, Susan Roffmann, Kathleen Charles and Elizabeth Padgett. He is preceded in death by his brother Robert Sanders.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, December 6, 2019 10 AM in the Chapel at Holy Name Catholic Church, 630 Harmon at Woodland, Birmingham. Visitation at the church begins at 9:30 am.

In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorials to Detroit Institute of Arts or the Capuchin Soup Kitchen.
